“Family values will remain at our core” as maloco + associates become maloco mowat parker

Multiple award-winning Dunfermline solicitors and estate agents, maloco + associates, are delighted to announce that they have rebranded to maloco mowat parker. Founder of the firm, Michael Maloco, has always strived to instil a family focused approach to business – understanding the significance of the family home and the important role solicitors play in helping plan family futures. As the firm looks to begin a new chapter in its development, it promises to maintain their traditional guiding principles of family values, community and their “Working Harder For You” ethos.

Approaching his 40th year of being a legal practitioner, Michael and his Co-Directors, Laura Mowat and Stacey Parker, see the rebranding as an opportunity to reaffirm their commitment to the town and as a stepping stone to their future.

The rebranding recognises the commitment and contribution of sisters Laura and Stacey, formerly associates and laterally Directors.

“As we move through this next important phase in the growth and development of the firm, I am delighted that the new name rightfully acknowledges the sterling efforts of my younger Co-Directors.”

Laura has 10 years of experience as a Practitioner and has been with the firm since 2015 – 5 of those as a Director.

Laura comments “As the head of the conveyancing department and estate agency partner designate, due to take over that role from Michael in the future, I look forward to working with the team and newly promoted property director, Keiran Newman, and our lettings manager, Danielle Cameron, to further engage with our commitment to top tier customer service”.

Stacey joined the team in 2021 and has been key to the rapid expansion of the firm’s private client department specialising in will writing, the preparation of powers of attorney and the winding up of the estates of loved ones. Michael said, “Laura and Stacey understand just how important family is to everything we do, whether that’s the purchase and sale of the family home or helping plan for the future. I have no doubt they will carry these values forward and continue to innovate when, in years to come, I am, hopefully, enjoying an espresso on a Tuscan hillside.”
